From Hamburg to New York - our loungewear is now available internationally
YOU LOOK PERFECT is now available in select boutiques and 5-star hotels from Hamburg to New York. When I think back to how it all began, it still feels a little surreal at times.
In 2017, I showcased my first collection at a fashion trade show during Berlin Fashion Week—with a big dream, lots of hope, and my mom as my only assistant at the show.
It didn't take long for us to realize how difficult it is for a new label to establish itself in the fashion industry. Buyers rushed from appointment to appointment with their familiar brands. There was often very little time left for new labels.
And whenever someone did stop by our booth, they almost always asked the same question:
"Where are you already represented?"
The answer back then was simple: nowhere yet. After all, it was our first collection.
As a result, the conversation was often over before it had really begun.
At the trade show, I met many other founders. Some were exhibiting for the fourth time and still hadn’t received a single order from a retailer. That’s when I realized how much perseverance it takes to establish yourself as a new brand.
Even so, I was convinced that our idea would find its place in the market. Even back then, I sensed that many women were looking for stylish, high-quality loungewear—clothes that are just as comfortable to wear at home as they are on the go.
The journey to get here wasn't always easy. There were setbacks, doubts, and many challenges. At the same time, over the years we've been able to build relationships with great sales partners in Germany, Switzerland, and the U.S. and grow step by step.
Today, we’re thrilled about every single boutique that adds our collection to its lineup. It’s especially wonderful to see that many retailers are now reaching out to us on their own initiative. For us, that’s the best possible validation of our daily work.
This experience has taught me one thing: Even in a demanding industry, there’s room for new ideas. It takes patience, perseverance, and the willingness to get back up after every setback.
Because every step—even if it was sometimes difficult—has made YOU LOOK PERFECT the brand it is today.
